Tombstone Territorial Park
This is the hike we did on the upper Klondike. [Sorry, the pix don't match up to the dialog - the two pictures of the water were the evening hike along the Klondike, the one of Barb in the bush and the map of the grade of the hike are of the grizzly creek trail.] I liked the pensive picture of Laurie, into the dappled sunlight of the river. Its my R brain side trying to be arty!
The second hike up to Grizzly creek look out is depicted on the map. Note the grade!
This morning I ran along the Yukon river and noted that where the Klondike meets it, the Klondike is very clear and the Yukon River is very muddy. They run parallel to each other without blending for quite a distance.
We are heading off tomorrow to do the "top of the world" highway through Chicken Alaska to Tok.
Laurie has arranged for the truck to have a lube and oil change and tire repair today.
All set for the next adventure.

Dad's got the same look he had when we tried to go see wineglass bay in tassie.
