This is jumping ahead but really wanted to share these pix with you. We are in Stewart/Hyder and they have a bear viewing station on a platform over a river full of spawning salmon. We observed the salmon for over an hour - but no bears. So we decided to carry on up the road to see the Salmon Glacier. We turned back, and there on the river right beside the road, was this grizzly. In the time that it took me to get positioned he had grabbed a salmon and was heading to the bank for dinner. Wow
