After we hiked up to Exit Glacier we noted a little sign on the side of the road saying salmon run. Just a little hike down the trail to a river full of red salmon. Quite interesting to watch as they all aligned themselves in certain areas of the stream. There seemed to be a "pecking order" as to who could have which space.
We carried on from here, through Anchorage to Palmer for the night.
