Dempster 2
The scenery seemed to change at every turn. I could bore you with mountain pictures because every one seemed to have different features or textures. This one with the "teeth" marching up it was fascinating.
Momma bear and her youngsters were just crossing the road - at their own pace - but the kids were curious about us.
There had been a fire previously and I think these are fireweed, so pretty. We were just on the edge of the tree line, so most of the trees were stunted.
We camped the first night at Eagle plains, very close to the arctic circle. Bar-B-Q and wine glass and a little visitor.
It took us 6 hours to do about 375 km. - most of the pix taken by Barb as we rolled along. Sometimes you will see through the dusty/buggy windshield!
