Today, Monday April 18th we left Sedona and headed past Flagstaff to Williams, Arizona. We found a golf course and had our first round of the trip. It started out well, but with a brisk breeze which then became a strong wind and cloud and cold. The colder we got the more our golf deteriorated. But then the sun came out, and we saw a herd of deer. It felt good to be swinging the clubs again.
Williams is part of the old "Route 66" so it has tried to recapture some of the flavor of the 50's. (The major highway between Chicago and LA).
Tomorrow the Grand Canyon!
