Yesterday, Sunday, we did a pretty thorough tour of Sedona. It too was jam packed with a gazillion tourists. It was a beautiful, warm Sunday and people had flocked to Sedona to enjoy the day. We drove up the Oak Creek Canyon, almost to Flagstaff, again climbing up and down many twisting roads. Beautiful scenery at every turn. We stopped at a designated native handicraft place and admired all the beautiful jewelry, pottery, basketry and paintings.
We then toured around the Sedona area looking at all the rocks! (Along with all the other gazillion visitors.) We opted not to stop and shop because of the crowds and because parking the truck/camper was an issue.
