Victoria

Victoria! We played tourist and drove around the harbour and then around the periphery visiting Beacon Hill Park. The Black ball Ferry was in the harbour and we took that to Port Angeles (northern shore of Washington). While in Victoria we hooked up with several of the Bairds, our old friends from our early dating and diving days. Dave (the Dad) has really found his artistic side - he does amazing Indian motif carvings in wood and silver. It was a real pleasure to get to know his wife Joy, and to see how well they complement each other.
We also hooked up with 3 of the next generation of Bairds. Sherry was our junior bridesmaid a lot of years ago. Nice to see her as a mother -such a sweet daughter, Cassidy, wife and business woman. Also had brief visits with Michael and Dave (jr) and got to see them in their business worlds. Great visits!
