We did a short trip back up the Malahat highway to see Michael Baird - he has an auto wreckers and he specializes in Japanese imports. Laurie was interested in seeing if he had any parts for his Datsun Fairlady. It was great to see Michael - he still has the same twinkle in his eyes.The plaster man was down at the Victoria Harbour where we were waiting to catch the ferry to Port Angeles. He was very good, he held the motionless pose for a long time before someone would come up and take a picture with him.
