We had a "typical rainy day" in Vancouver - apparently broke some records for the most rainfall on that August day. Since then we have had 3 absolutely beautiful, sunny and warm days. Martin, Laurie's brother made us delicious sushi one night for dinner, then we a had fabulous steak dinner with Lisa and Stephen the next night. Yesterday Lisa, Laurie and I did a little shopping for pots (Christmas present) and then drove through Stanley Park, crossed over the Lion's Gate Bridge and then walked along the sea at Ambleside (in West Vancouver).
