A little further south of the cape, the First Nations had a campsite by the beach. It was just like long beach, with a few surfers and kayakers the next day. The sunset was magnificent.
The dog adopted us. There were about 4 belonging to the "locals" who would come up and demand some attention, but were really content just to sit beside you. We did a long walk on the beach, and really enjoyed the sound of the waves all night.
